Thursday Was a Success

Thursday was a success, because all my little goals were met and I was able to do my errands and come home safe. I wanted to go to the library and pick up a few movies that were on hold and return something that was overdue. I wanted to get to the aldi’s across the street from the library and get some fruit and vegetables before they closed for the evening.

It was kind of chilly out, it said in the high forties, but with the very cold rain, it really felt very cold indeed. I dressed warmly, but didn’t have my gloves on at first while on my bike. My hands got very cold from the rain, so I pulled over and put them on. That made the experience so much nicer.

It was lovely to come home and eat a meal and have a good time relaxing, watching some tv series on hulu and just being chill. It’s nice when I can accomplish some goals, but it is also important to make the goals small and achievable for me.

May is our birthday month, and the third week of May is our birthday week, and we are very excited about that. We have spent some time this month collecting and choosing healing quotes on the topic of books and reading for May’s healing quotes. We are trying to decide what else we are going to do, but for now we are still in the planning stages, so we don’t have any news to share about that.

Right now I’m eating some honeydew melon and I’m watching the movie Thor. We love those kinds of movies.

I hope you all have a good weekend. Good and healing thoughts to you all.   🙂

  1. I think you’re so smart to set achievable goals—it’s an important thing for everyone to do, and they are especially meaningful when they are related to daily quality of life and self-care, as yours so thoughtfully are.

  2. Good for you! Keep setting those goals for yourself. We all need something to look forward to. Feeling successful is nice, so, like you, I tend to keep my goals small and very achievable. That makes for lovely days, doesn’t it?
