It’s So Nice to Be Feeling Better

Life is so much lovelier when not dealing with being horribly sick. I am so glad that I finally went to the doctor last week and got some antibiotic. I’m feeling much improved, though still not completely well.

I went on a foray to the store, by bike, today. It was horribly slow and frustrating on the roads. Unfortunately I started my foraging project during rush hour in the evening. And unfortunately the roads downtown were horribly frozen, uneven, and difficult to traverse. It felt a lot like how I imagine mountain climbing would be. So I got quite a workout times two, there and back again. So glad to be home.

I’m watching Despicable Me 2 right now, while continuing to warm up. I loved the first movie. This one is hilarious and lots of fun.

  1. maybe during snowy and slushy months, a bus would be better than a bike? you’d be inside, so warmer and dryer. i dont know there, but here, the city buses all have big racks on the front for people to put their bikes on while they ride. so you could bus and ride bike!

i just want you to be safe and warm and still get around! good luck! (*if im too bossy, just tell me to stop! 🙂 )

    • Hi Kat,

No I don’t think you’re bossy. I did stop and wait for a bus, but the traffic was so backed up that after about ten minutes of sitting on a bench I gave up and decided to bike all the way to the store. Thanks for the comment sweet heart. 🙂

Good and healing thoughts to you.

    • Hi Granny,

Thank you dear. I am looking forward to spring.

I’m so glad that the second movie was as good as the first one. Though I was wishing for some ballet dancing, tea partying, and pinkie swearing. But I guess I just have to watch the first movie again soon. Perhaps both of them together, for a nice movie watching party.

Good and healing thoughts to yous.
