Creative Healing 4

February 12, 2010 at 8:23 pm 2 comments

My fourth healing project was done at the same time as the third one. On the third project I used four kinds of beads to represent myself and my three best healing friends. For this project I only used three types of beads to represent my three friends. I used ten beads for each friend, making a total of thirty beads for the bracelet.

I don’t really know how to explain how and why this project was important, just to say that it was. It felt right. I have found it to be tremendously healing. It has added another depth to my healing process in my creative healing work. When I wear this bracelet I wear it on my right wrist and wear my creative healing project three on my left wrist. There is something very powerful and healing about this bracelet and the two of them together.

For this project I picked out one type of bead that is larger and tube shaped. The bead is purple with silver splash lines on the outside. The second bead is clear bicone shaped with purple in the middle of the bead. The third bead is small and silver.

I picked purple because I have for some time been drawn toward purple and lavender. I find them peaceful and healing. I picked silver, because recently

I have discovered that silver is a personal power color for me. I don’t know how to explain that, but silver is a very powerful and healing color for me right now. Perhaps it always has been and I just didn’t know it.

Here is what I found online about the colors:

Silver:

Element: Air

Keywords:

The Goddess, the Moon, the Tide, Ebb and Flow, female energy, patience, forbearance, perseverance, insight, reflection.

Properties:

Silver is a major conductor and communicator. Aids speech and public speaking eloquence.  Enhances patience and perseverance.

Like the moon who’s energy controls the rhythm of ocean tides , it has a soothing , calming effect.

Excellent for mental, emotional, and physical releasing and cleansing. Works on the mind/emotions to see overview, emotional balance, patience.

Draws negative energy out from the body and replaces it with positive energy.

Dignity, Self control, Wisdom, Responsibility, Organization, Insight.

Purple:

Element: Water

Spirituality: Strength – Passion – Meditation – Magic – Mystery

7th Chakra: Crown  (Sahasrara) Top of the head

Keywords:

wisdom, spiritual, dignified, impressive, dramatic, vitality, relaxation, determination, spirituality, psychic awareness,, higher self, motivation, passion, excitement.

Properties:

The 7th Chakra is known as the Crown Chakra bringing to us our universal connection – all is one.

A perfect balance of Red and Blue, instilling both Strength and dignity, Violet is the color of Spirituality.  It is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment.

It helps us align ourselves with the Oneness of the Universe, knowing we are powerful and in control, yet keeping us “Right Size.”

Spiritually: Spirituality and life force energy

Three:

The third dimension- we do things in threes so they will manifest in our physical realm.

It’s roots stem from the meaning of multiplicity. Creative power; growth.

Three is a moving forward of energy, overcoming duality, expression, manifestation, and synthesis. Three is all. The triad, the whole, containing the beginning, a middle, and the end.

The power of three is universal, the nature of the world being heaven, earth, and waters. It is the human body, soul, and spirit.

Three is birth, life, and death. It is the beginning, middle, and end. Past, present, and future. A complete cycle.

Three phases to the moon.

Ten:

10 = 1 = Rebirth – that which stirs and awakens your soul at this time.

Ten is the number of the cosmos—the paradigm of creation. The decad contains all numbers and therefore all things and possibilities. It is the radix or turning point of all counting.

Ten is all-inclusive representing law; order and dominion. The tetraktys 1+2+3+4= 10 symbolizes divinity and one represents a point; two, length; three, a plane or surface (as a triangle); four, solidity or space.

It is seen as the perfect–the return to unity. When based on the digits of the two hands, it is completeness and the foundation of all counting. Its highest ranges of completeness, 100 and 1000, are the basis of all Hindu cosmology, and in China the Ten Thousand Things, ie: the uncountable, symbolize the whole of manifestation.

Ten is also the number of completion of journeys and returns to origins: Odysseus wandered for nine years and returned on the tenth. Troy was besieged for nine years and fell on the tenth. Ten is the sum of the number nine of the circumference with the one of the center—being perfection. We see ten also being symbolized in rituals like the ritual of the Maypole – the one of the axis with the circle danced around.

I draw things in threes all the time. I’ve always had a thing for groups of three.
Your info on colors and stuff was pretty cool.

      Hi Faith,

      You’re welcome.

In Reiki three is a very significant number of people. Having three people do Reiki together increases the power of the healing incredibly. I think that it is a very powerful number. But my favorite number is seven.

Good and healing thoughts to you.

      Kate
